Sir,

I have the honour to inform you that I have

approved the grant of a pension to Mr. A. Lane, Assistant

Engineer and Station Officer, Hongkong Fire Brigade, at the

rate of £165 a year from the 19th December, 1921.

I have granted Mr. Lane five months' vacation

leave prior to retirement.
